Earth Month - April 2019

Providing and protecting clean water has always been one of Aveda's major passions and they've raised funds for water during Earth Month since 2007.

This year, Aveda is shaking things up with an exciting new global partnership with the nonprofit Charity:Water. This organisation has the ability to drastically change lives: when a community has access to clean water, it can improve health, increase access to food, grow local economies, and help kids spend more time in school. This helps end the cycle of poverty.

Scott Harrison, Charity:Water Founder added, “We believe that when a community gains access to clean, safe drinking water, it changes everything. People are healthier. Dignity is restored. And instead of walking hours for water that isn't safe to drink, women and children can go to school, earn an income, or spend time with their families. We're honoured to be partnering with Aveda to bring clean water to thousands of people in the years to come".
